knob to iphone

pretty cool, pretty cool.. would be awesome if they put a suction cup on the knob and it had a shaft to still spin it so it could remain stationary on the glass.. i could see that thing flying outta my hand, landing on the floor, and someone kicking it never to be found again.

Cool! Looks like a lot of latency though.

i saw this protitype with something like this , this is really cool.


you can make a full DIYS controller.


we need now , some faders , and buttons.

And also , some new "controllers" something that are not kobs , faders or buttons , we are in 2010 , faders , knobs and buttons are cool , but , we need to find THE NEXT THING

Hmmm... Came to think of: Why not using thin clear plastic, make holes for the knobs, place it on top of the screen, and there you go: as many knobs as you want!

Buttons could be made like cell phone buttons, with a mini soft silicon ball inside, for touch pressure width. There you go: velocity.

if the knob was bigger, about the size of a round beer coaster, and it had holes around the edge, that would be sweet! something like this:

Never mind the fact that most on-screen knobs don't operate with two touch points or rotation.

You just slide them up and down.


Even if you did manage to attach a bunch of knobs to an iPad. Well. That's just silly.
