Reason 5 with record in (finally, but too late). I got emulator x3 to do that for me along a slicer, loop mangeler, and frequency extracter.

They better show some tits tomorow or else I am out. 5am pacific standard time. The truth shall be told

its either reason 5, or a controller for record 1. I really hope it's reason 5....

Let the count down begin

who cares ?

As a former reason user, they have done nothing since the launch of reason which has been groundbreaking, record wasn't exactly revolutionary and a payable add-on option they should have included with reason.

An iphone/ipad app - big effing deal !

@Leeds-Well they did intro new insts like Malstrom, Thor and RPG-8. Reason is not my primary but an excellent tool in my arsenal. I hoping for what IP suggested. VST and AU support.

I would rather see "reason pieces" where you could use all of reasons synths and FX as regular plugins so we can stop bothering with re-wire.

With a drama queen move like a countdown, it better be fucking MINDBLOWING and LIFE CHANGING.

Countdowns = :roll:

Malmstrom is a weak synth IMHO. Thor is only OK, it looks better than it sounds (it doesn't stack up to a Zebra or Massive IMHO) and RPG-8 is a useful tool if you do stuff with a lot of arpegiatting (I don't typically, I save that for the tarnce freaks ;) )

The best thing about Reason was it's light load on the CPU, but it's internal synths (apart from some of the library in NNXT) is pretty weak, especially subtractor. Gave up on Reason at 2.5 and embraced Live instead, one of the best moves I made.

Maybe I'm been overly cynical. Maybe they are going to come out with some revolutionary, must have device - but if it's just an iphone app, or an update for Reason or Record, I will be left feeling underwhelmed.

It will be an iPad app. Not an iPhone app. :lol:
