Hi All,

I'm trying to download ableton 8.1.3 suite but for some weird reason when unpacking the zip file it gives an error near the end saying that the consisting file is corrupted, don't understand this at all. Seems weird that ableton would post a corrupted zip file on their site. Anyone facing the same trouble or am I overseeing something ?

I am however able to download, unpack and install the 8.1.4 beta vsn.

Did you try to re-download the 8.1.3 suite?
Eventually the download "didn´t go through all the way"?

It's defenitely not an installer problem cause all my installers seem to be corrupt. So this is maybe a windows problem and it's not my regular firewall, I've read something about troubles with asus firewalls ( motherboard firewalls ) but I don't know where to disable it. I've formatted and reinstalled windows several times now, and everything works fine but I can't install things on it cause it gives corruption errors. I know this is probably outside of your juristriction sort of speak, but if you can shine any light on this it would be much appreciated.

Appearantly this is an ableton installer problem, cause for some weird reason I can't install my previous ( downloaded ) from 7 to 8 upgrade version neither. Is there a licensing problem going on? Only reinstalled it on the same computer and one other computer.

during installation it gives the following message ; and I/O error has occured, this is usually caused by bad media or corrupt installation file.

Any ideas ?
