Good that they've given their website a cosmetic upgrade too, it was starting to look very, very old :)

.... edit: but I'm not liking "all that flash" ;)

Good to see some new stuff coming out.

Not so good to see they've gone totally 'Traktor' :(

Looked at the videos and there's some petty good stuff going on, with a lot of thought to how the controllers operate.

Almost enough to make me want to port over to Traktor for DJ'ing. I actually have a licence for the orignal version that I used before going over to Ableton - uuum :)

They are great controllers and solid as a rock, but a lot more competition now !

Pretty obvious really! I just assumed it was 50% off when you purchased a Faderfox module. Thanks for the info.

I feel the same

when I heard about a new gen of foxies, I was really impatient, I own a LV2, and was really curious to see its successor...

BUT

no LV3

only DJ foxies...

Why the hell did Faderfox gave up with ableton / DAWs controllers????

I thought they would make something like a dual LV2 in one unit, with at least 8 faders... or at least an updated LV2... or at least they COULD HAVE CONTINUED the production!!!

WHY ???? :?: :?: :?:

Features

* Special controllers for DJ software (optimised for Native Instruments
Traktor Pro and Ableton Live)
* Setup files for Traktor Pro/Duo (as of V.1.2.4) and Live (as of V.8.1.1)
are shipped with the controller
So why are you thinking they won't support Live?

I'm not thinking they won't support live, it's generic midi controllers

I'm speaking of the design...

the LV2 is a 6-faders 4-pots 1-joystick 12-buttons layout, that is great for generic MIDI

I don't see any generic fader device in the new foxies gen except the FX3...

they're all kinda DJ oriented, aren't they (the FX3 is the most generic, I don't get why they didn't make a generic fader device like the LV2...)

cheers
