Instant mapping and Group Tracks

Hi,
I am using an MPD24 with Live 8.1.3
I love the fact that the faders map automatically to the track volume
I would like for the faders to map to the track volumes of a selected Group Track
E.g. If track 2 is a group track containing 3 clip tracks when i select track 2 i want faders 1-4 on the MPD to control it
Does anyone know if this is possible?
I understand that if you unfold a group the faders automap but if the group is on track 6 i'm bang out of luck
