I've watched the youtube video for selecting and controlling faders for filter effects and I can not seem to get my controller to work as shown. Any advice would be helpful.

Ok... so after thinking about it and reading everything I could, then analyzing Houston Singletary's video. I realized that selecting the user modes enabled me to select my faders and nob manually with the midi mapping mode. Effectively giving me 25 pre-selected midi maps for anything I want at the touch of the shift and User buttons.
