Hi I DJ with Ableton live and use itunes to catalog all my music. I used to be able to open itunes and Ableton and simply drag a track from itunes and drop it directally onto an Ableton track.
I recently downloaded itunes 9.2 and for some reason I can no longer drop songs from itunes to Ableton.
Please help, any advice would be extremely appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Drag'n'drop from iTunes to Live works fine here with iTunes 9.2 and Live 8.1.3, on OS X 10.6.3.

What version of Live are you using?

Should still work, just asking in case someone has the same config as you. Are you on L7.0.18? One common suggestion is to ensure that your Quicktime installation is also up to date (but I thought that iTunes updates that, not sure...).

I'm running live version 7.0.2. 1 thing Should add is when I upddated to itunes 9.2 I also was asked to download the new safari and now safari isn't working. Could this be part of the problem? if so how would I fix it?

Safari not working either? Sounds like a system level issue you have there - have you got enough free HD space? Also try repairing disk permissions. Also, update your Live version (7.0.18 will be a separate install, so you don't have to overwrite your existing 7.0.2, just in case)...

Yes I agree...buy your software! Although this isn't the issue. Live 7.0.18 here with the same problem.

I have also had this problem recently - Seems like a momentary glitch though as I have to close Ableton &/Or Itunes and then it suddenly works again! Seems to happen just after importing a new CD into Itunes...

Thought it may also be specific to Snow Leopard as works fine on my other system running the old leopard system...

P.s. I have paid for all my shit.

kkanneee, why do you stay with live 7.0.2?? 7.0.18 is commonly known to be the most reliable 7 version...???

sorry my post won't help with your problem, though
