audio interface question (outputs/reamping stuff)

High Fellow Ableton Losers!

I have a question about audio interfaces. I am interested in getting an audio interface that I can do some LIVE re-amping with. I want to cue clips of direct guitar and bass, and send the guitars to a guitar amp, basses to a bass amp, and split synths and drums in seperate outputs for better mixing by live soundmen.

Any advice on units that can do this?

THANKS A TON SERIOUSLY.

love,
darren

Hi!

you would need an interface with several line outs - like the Motu Ultralight - and route the individual signals to their own line out. I've not done this before, but AFAIK, you'd need one re-amp box for each signal you'd like to send to an Amp to transform the line signal to a Hi-Z-signal for best results
(I've read you could send the signal also through a passive DI box in the reverse way - output from audio interface to output of DI)

or something like this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/4 ... p_Box.html
