well?

all i could find was tips on using a delay, but that's not what i'm looking for as it echoes during the whole clip (that makes sense right?)

maybe this is a better explanation: when playing back something with live, when you hit the stop button you hear just the last little segment being echoed until it fades to nothing. i'm looking for an effect that can do this intentionally to my audio clips.

Automate the wet/dry control on the delay.

Turn up to wet at the end of the clip.

Keep it all dry throughout the rest of the clip.

ahhhhhh that makes sense. i knew it had to be something simple.



one more quick one: i cut up a short audio clip (for the sake of clarity, we'll say it's now in four, seperate, clips: harder, better, faster, stronger, for example).

how can i map each one of the four to my midi keyboard's keys/drum pads? i tried using the impulse instrument and an empty drum rack, but when i play one of them, it only plays a very small slice of it (for example, i press the key and it plays "har-" and cuts off, instead of "harder"). i played with the settings in impulse but couldn't figure anything out. i suppose it'd be like making a soundboard of clips, but when i searched that on here/google, nothing came up.

try adjusting the decay in the volume envelope.
