Limiting Parameters in Beat Repeat

Hi everyone,
Was hoping someone may be able to help me out.
I finally wrapped my head around beat repeat, but once I have it set up, I'd like to use the grid / gate for live performance - however- I don't really want to move them beyond 1/64, for example, and if possible, would like to make it skip 1/3 and 1/6 so all my adjustments are locked in time if that makes sense - is this possible? If so how so?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

The "No Tripl" button keeps your grid on even numbered lengths only.
If you put Beat Repeat into a Rack (ctrl+G "group")and then assign the grid to a macro, or midi assign it to a hardware knob/slider, both will show options for limiting the amount.

Another fun thing to do is set up a button for the repeat function and the ins/mix/gate function. (On my own I will also typically set up eq freq and on/off controls). With a control activated for the grid and the no trip function activated (or also toggled to a button for extreme fun).
With a button also enabled for on/off function you can then toggle the beat repeat effect in normal mode or with repeat enabled and off on- with the mix button you can control the output content and the eq button allows you to set up cool repeating filter sweeps etc.
As far as it applies to your question in particular- you can use your grid to select the rate you want the repeats to happen at, and then drop the repeat activated effect in to loop exactly what you want when you want it and toggle it right back out... but a few minutes of play will rapidly alert you to the next breakthroughs with said magical effect.
Try dropping it in on ins mode over a channel with all the other channels routed in (or you can do the bus- depending on effect preferences) and you will quickly have those missing breaks for... well... for about anything you have ever tracked.
Did I mention that I think Beat Repeat is rad?

Triplet beat repeats are the shit.. map the "no trips" button so you can turn it on an off cause they're fun in some cases, but other times they mess up the groove.

The variation and chance params are good for randomness as well! Have fun, and dont' over use it cause that shit gets "annoying annoying annoying annoying annoying annoying ann ann ann ann aaa a a a a a a a a a" yeah, it's a love/hate thing..

ftr- not advocating permanent engagement of the no trip feature myself- rather- but suggesting mapping as much or as little of beat repeat as needed for super happy fun times....

I get a kick out of ADJUSTING the pitch decay while a part is held. It is very similar to filtering, a filter helps pull away some of the extra frequencies. At super fine increments it just goes BEEewwwwwwwww as it decays, but pulling the decay back to zero, it gradually resets. So freaking awesome. haha. Then if you want to do the classic dj-style half-tempo without actually having to change your tempo, you can use the Pitch setting itself.
And yes, triplets are amazing. Tagged to the end of a bar, it feels like a cat scrambling across a slippery floor. haha
The important thing to decide (along with setting your appropriate Output mode like the previous poster mentioned) Is whether you want the repeats to be automated to change each bar, (Chance setting, plus controlling size via the Grid knob) or only want it turned on at the press of a button (Chance at 0%, Repeat button triggers repeats). I used to set it so that it only repeated whenever I cranked the Grid knob. But now I feel like I can do more fun things with the tail end if I use the Repeat button

(also good for looping! [even in triple time!!

Thank you EVERYONE for all the replies! Glad to know there are plenty of like minded geeks out there.
With that said - I'll play around with this - I agree - triplets shouldn't be removed completely- because a lot of times 1/12 for example just sounds perfect, but I want to bring it out whenever I want/ not when I'm transitioning between 1/8 and 1/16 though..
You guys rock!

Exactly.. messes with the groove.
Sometimes I'll set up the no-trips beat repeat and then some quick go-to triplet beat repeats.. this means you'll have more than one beat repeat but at least you can get away with exactly what you want
