How to do a pitched snare roll in ableton?

I'm brand new to Ableton,brand new to software period really so its a steep learning curve.....im getting everything slowly with a little practice but this is the only thing(so far) that stumps me everytime i go to do it,pitched roolls
like in most southern beats.........any help is appreciated

Put a snare drum in a sampler
Create a MIDI clip
Draw some notes
Go to your envelope in the clip and write a pitch bend in

use beat repeat and mess around with the pitch control!..

Yeah that too

Yet another way is to put a snare in a sampler and put an arpeggiator before it and automate device on/off when you want rolls to happen. Mess with sync rate, gate and octaves.
