If I did an update do I need to install the folders?

Hello!
I have received my ableton live suite 8 box, I started to install the first cd that came with the live 8.0.1, but I realized that I needed the version 8.1.3, then i updated this version from the ableton website . My question is if I should install the two folders that comes in the first cd of the dvd of my box? (Suite and loops). Or if they have been downloaded when I did the update to the new version.
Either way I'm thinking of installing. also, I wonder if there is any way to know which are the things I have installed twice.
Thank you very much!

I'm wondering quite same thing. Just bought Suite 8 and wonder what sounds it does include - how to i know have i installed all of them? Well, i know what instruments etc. but sounds and samples? Have not got the box yet but changed from demo to full download and should something change already?

In demo there are some sounds that say "suite 8 demo", some say "live 8 library"...

I have a great reputation of being stupid and this might add to it.

I find i quite confusing too. I had demo then installed live8 (box) then installed latest update 8.1.4 and I ended up with 3 installs in Add/Remove programs. I also seem to have an Ableton folder in my profile and a 2nd one in My Documents (Windows7). I did a Library check and it ran for a good 8 hours. Don't make me read the manual, I work in IT and it's against the law:)
