Ableton Forum

I just picked up a Novation Zero SL MK2 and spent the last couple of days exploring Live and Automap. Needless to say, I could use a forum for people who are dealing with the learning curve.

I did google this, but nothing really popped up. Novation doesn't appear to have a forum. There have been posts here, it's not as comprehensive as a dedicated forum would be.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I actually run a Yahoogroup and mailing list dedicated to Automap, but I wouldn't recommend it, there's like one post every three months.
(I didn't start it. It's sort of a re-boot of an older community that got all spammed down. Before the spam flood, it was pretty good, with some participation from Novation. My salvaging attempt was unfortunately too late.)

Anyway, since that community died from spam, the best info I've found about the SL and Automap has actually been here.

Boscoremus - thanks for the links, but I've already watched them. Good information, but they don't always evaluate the best way out of the alternatives to try get something done.

Slirak - it suprises me that you can have a product with so many users without a forum for support. Maybe, as djsyncro says, it's because "it just works." For me, "it just kind of works, sort of." I'll just keep plugging away.

i made a forum just as the sl came out...

due to lack of interest of others and the noisy pc in my living room that had to be on all the time, i shut it down...

if you care to maintain it, i can send you the code so you can run it... theres approx 150 users registered...
