FM synth (FM8 or Operator), or some nasty wave table like Massive would do.
Any synth with a ring modulator or a ring modulator VST in a Rack with even a virtual analog soft synth would probably do.
What synths soft or hard do you own?

Buy the Puremagnetik pack?

They are inexpensive and high quality, instead of buying something to try to recreate the sound you want, just buy the sound you want.

Thanks Guys. I'll look into buying the Puremagnetik pack but if anyone has any other ideas how I could make the desired sound from my Softsynths that would be great. Check out my other posthttp://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=146069 Help would be appreciated! Thanks

I'd recommend Massive.

You don't need a particularly fancy synth for that sound, and I think that Massive is totally the wrong way to go.

I've done my best to recreate it here with just the standard Live devices.

There's an instrument rack containing an effects chain in these files starting with Analog, and then following up with various Live effects to suitably screw up the sound.

It's definitely not exactly the same, I'm the first to admit that, but I personally think it's on the right track.

I'm sure someone else could tweak it the extra distance, as I don't want to spend that much more time on it.

I hope this helps you TCONELLYJOTYAS!

Learn to program synths, it might be hard work but it's worth it. I can't view the examples posted (I'm at work) but instead of just playing with them try to understand what everything's doing.

This is a sample from a record of several instruments playing at once.

Most french house is sampled loops and chopped loops.
