I've tried this with Cubase 1 and AudioDesk on MacOSX - whenever I try launching either one as master, then Live I get an alert of

"The Rewire master application has detected a different version of Live than the one last used. Live will not run as ReWire slae unless you restart the current ReWire master application and Live'

Of course I restart both to no avail...

I've even deleted the Ableton Live Engine in both application support folders a number of times to make sure the latest is installed, but it just doesn't do anything....

suggestions?

I have this exact problem !!!

Trying to use Live 4.04 as a slave to Logic Pro 6.4.1 on OSX Panther 10.3.6...

Help ???? Suggestions ?????
