just recently i've discovered that the master volume on every new set i create in live 7 is mapped to rotary control 2 on my padkontrol. this isn't paticularly a big problem but i'm curious to know what's going on here as i've never made a template and there's no midi to delete in mapping mode......thanks

this is simply a default mapping when you choose PK as a control surface in Live.

Yes and you can do a lot more than this simple template
