THE stunned black dad of a newborn, WHITE, baby girl declared yesterday — "I'm sure she's my kid ... I just don't know why she's BLONDE."

British Nmachi Ihegboro has amazed genetics experts who say the little girl is NOT an albino.



Dad Ben, 44, a customer services adviser, admitted: "We both just sat there after the birth staring at her."

Mum Angela, 35, of Woolwich, South London, beamed as she said: "She's beautiful - a miracle baby."

Ben told yesterday how he was so shocked when Nmachi was born, he even joked: "Is she MINE?"

Damn that lady can keep a secret. If she can convince him that "oh no, really its yours i swear." think of what else she is capable of

why did no one talk about paternity testing?

i for one am excited, think about it,
10's of thousands of years ago the (maybe) same mutation happened to create Europeans from what were essentially dark skinned humans. this is evolution happening right before our eyes, and i'm somewhat dismayed at the lack of awareness displayed by most everyone "commenting" on this.

nah, white father + black mother = slightly less black baby. thats how it works. this baby is completely white, blond hair, blue eyes. it's an anomaly.

And since it's an anomaly than the theory you proposed about 1 white and 1 black parent doesn't really mean much because the anomaly factor could just as easily apply to that situation. Paternity test or it didn't happen.

And that article is really a shining example of poor news. Something that freakish happens and that's all the blog can say about it?

wow you're right q.muscrove. your succinctly stated arguments and poignant examples have really helped me to see this issue in a new light. i for one am a changed man today.
