I am getting static on top of an otherwise clean signal on the recorded clips. Any suggestions?
Any suggestions as to latency settings?

800 mega hz

windows xp on a 800 mhz your pushing it..

how much ram do you have ?
with latency you will just have to trial and error... with such an old machine you will run into a lot of problems...
