I have an apc40 new in the box and I'm looking for a vestax vci-100...I'm in NC USA
order one from Dj Tech tools. The standard VCI100 layout/mapping is crap.
You want the "VCI100 SE" from DJTT. This provides the latest overlay and then all you need to do is download the mapping file for FREE from their website. It also comes with 1.3 firmware (BIG improvement to the standard 1.2)
I bought one and wish I had just went straight to them intead of having to do all the above manually.
Its a great DJ controller for Traktor, not so sure about Ableton.... I have recently got the APC40 and find it much better overall with Ableton.
