So I went to guitar center yesterday, and checked out Mackies, Adams, and a few others. Surprisingly, the M-Audio Studiophile BX8 sounded the best out of all of them. I was literally blows away at how good they sounded.
I was wondering if any of you had any experience mixing on these. If so, please share. Thanks.

they are ok (ish) i've had mine for about 5 years they have been relegated to being glorified subs now.. they are good party speakers not real great for critical listening....
good low end response pretty exaggerated mid lows nice mids and scratchy mid highs and highs stereo imaging is pretty blurred aswell for the money they are alright though i spose... i'd spring a few more $$$ for a better set of speakers if you can

Yeah maybe it was the colouring of the sound that you liked. I would go back with a few of your own productions and test it out.

Don't know if you mean the BX8a's if you do stay well clear, I had 2 pairs and both developed the same fault, maybe they have sorted them out now, I got my money back and went for some KRK's

they sound good because they aren't flat. They are well known to over-exaggerate anything under 150 hz and below.
