My transpose keys always went under used, and I found myself remapping them to something more 'useful'. However, when I was at work I would only have my axiom 25 so.. the transpose keys became more important. I started to 'play' the transpose keys in time and found it to be pretty fruitful in terms of discovering new ways to explore musical ideas.

Had another listen, really like the effect.

Just a personal view, I think it would sound even better if you had an increased decay so the 2nd/3rd sounds drop off quicker.

Then you can hear the melody more clearly. I'm not talking a huge drop, just enough to stop the verb/delay overpowering the first key and the subsequent melody notes.

Am I making sense?

By the way, I listened to the strings with knobs lol. Performance-wise wouldn't a fader be better? Seems more intuitive or maybe you were trying to make it difficult to play

Hey Housemunky, I follow you 100%. The push and pull is getting enough delay that provides a mini metronome without being to overbearing... will play. As for strings and knobs, or any of the lush quartet videos you've seen, I think the knob is far more intuitive to play than a fader. It has a better 'back' and forth feel and I appreciate the butter like feel on the apc40
