When it comes to writing an online biography, I haven't got a clue where to start.

Any tips anyone?

Cool man, should I write in first peron or third person? I always think third person can sound a bit phony personally? Does it matter?

Put it in the 3rd person and put something in it that could potentially interest a journalist. By "interest" I mean - they can use it without thinking too much.

EG: Include things that are topical, or relate to "celebrities", or to current events. No-one will care if they are bollocks as long as they sell a story.

Imagine what goes on the front of magazines.
It's isn't :"this man makes a really good trance track, he says" ,
it's : "music you can get actually high on, say scientists!!11!!"

Journos want something that leaves the reader with no option but to buy/open the magazine/webpage.

so make their lives easy, give them a hook and they will use it.

you want to write in 3rd person so it sounds like you are so important that you don't need to write about yourself b/c someone else already has.

for my bio i did a cop-out- i went to wikipedia and copied the entry for DMT and replaced any mention of DMT with my name http://soundcloud.com/memes_33
