I use a lot of scenes in my live set which are triggered by a foot controller. As a result, the clip launch view (red box) doesn't reflect what's currently playing back. The solution is to simply use bank select arrows to make the APC accurately reflect where I am in the set. But it's a bit of a pain when I have 60 or more scenes to scroll through and I'm playing keyboards at the same time.

Is there a way to have the red box follow what is currently playing back? Or similarly, is there a way to externally control the position of the red box? I know I could probably hack together something with Max for Live, but ideally I'm looking for a quick and easy solution.

I've been having the same problem with the Launchpad.

Record a new clip on the fly then having to frantically scroll around searching for the active scene before it comes time to trigger the next scene in the set.
