I've got Suite 8 and I can't see Drum Machines? I thought I loaded everything so where will I find drum machines.

Look at your drum racks

Nope there are no mentions of 707, 606 etc and no mention of drum machines in the browser, nothing in the kicks nor in the kits under drum racks and nothing under drum racks directly.

I'm new to Macs and I'm on OSX 10.6.4. I wonder what I'm doing wrong LOL.

options-preferences-Library - Repair Library.

that will make Live call Ableton HQ and download what you're missing. be warned, this could take hours depending on what you've installed.

to see what you do own go to the Ableton home page, on the left pane you'll see User Account, that has nothing to do with the forum account, it's a list of stuff you own.

Puremagnetik have nothing to do with Ableton. it's a small group of GREAT users that make quality sound packs that Ableton licenses to use in their products.

Dalski - no need to roll your eyes at a new user. this isn't all that straightforward.

I believe though Tone that Puremagnetik DID license the drum machines samples to Ableton.
