Automation change based on midi note

Anyone know if it's possible to have live change an automation parameter based on which notes are pressed. Example: You have a basic piano Sampler on a midi track, as you are playing that Sampler, you want various automation parameters to change based on what you are playing. I want to cause a Send to go to 100% when pressing C3, otherwise (any other key) have it only be 50%.
