Live as a Rewire Master

Any chance on this? I'll like to send midi to logic 9, I've tried IAC, it gives me a bad glitch
Thanks in advance!!!
Thanks in advance!!!
works great with audio but not with midi for me, it repeats the notes making a massive delay and then it stops, stutters and stays sustained until i hit the space bar twice.Warrior Bob wrote:I've only tried this in Windows, but Live worked great there as a ReWire master for audio. Create an audio track, set the input to rewire (in my case, "ReBirth audio") and then start up you ReWire slave program. I presume it'd be the same idea for MIDI.
What was the glitch that you ran into with IAC? I've never had anything but good with it.
Live 8, I think it only happens with logic...ShelLuser wrote:What Live version? I use 8 very often (nearly all the time) as a rewire slave to both Reason & Max/MSP yet never had midi nor sound issues.
Thanks!!! I'm just Going to work with Live, I bought a bunch of VST's so I just keep it in one platform.ShelLuser wrote:First of all: that was a typo up there from me; I said rewire slave yet meant master, sorry.Yage wrote:Live 8, I think it only happens with logic...ShelLuser wrote:What Live version? Obviously I should have paid a little more attention here because yes; you're right. Not every DAW out there can be used as both rewire master and slave like Live can. Most of them (to my knowledge at least) support either function (master or slave) but seldom both.
Just checked the Logic Pro page and it mentions rewire; but like master only. So I think you're right here. You will be able to use Live as a rewire slave here (so send its sound into Logic) but not the other way around.
