Updates do not work

Hello (yeah, many problems atm

),
I purchased Live 7 LE a long time ago. I got my free update to Live Intro. Then, I bought the update to Live 8 (which worked instantly and really easy), but now I want to update Live. It says there's an update waiting for me- I download it, install it, but when I open it, it opens Live Intro, not Live 8!
How can I solve this problem?

I'm sure you know what you are doing but just the basics here..
Are you using the Live 8 icon to open your project or the old Live Intro icon that may still be in your dock?

LOL I use the new Icon, of course. It doesn't work, though :/

Have you checked your customer account on ableton.com? Chosing the desired license and "Authorize this Computer" might cure your problem.

That sounds like the right answer, I'm sure there is a quick fix for the problem..

The license is not available for authorizing, since i did that already.
re-entering the serial no says: "This serial number is already registered to an Ableton account."
What now?
