Highlighted scales on piano roll

I've heard from several people that Fruity Loops has a feature on the midi piano roll where if you hit a note it will highlight what other notes in the scales are available.
Is there something like this for Ableton Live?

Don't think so, but this is an interesting concept.

Maybe there is a vst compatible with Ableton that does this?
It sounds like it would be pretty easy to do, and convenient for those who don't know music theory.

It would have to present them in its own GUI as I doubt it could interact with the Ableton GUI.

That would be sick! I'm just becoming familiar with scales, and it's hard to memorize all of them
