thanks. ill check that now...on a side note, if youre using the apc to act as a mixer essentially using abletons built in fx (eq, filters etc)...should we be worried about CPU issues?

what qualifies as a ton? right now ive got about 4 on each channel (8 channels) & a limiter on the master.

That should be more than fine, unless your laptop is 4-5 years old or something. Just keep an eye on the CPU meter in Live, is it really high?
