Actually, I reckon a tips and tricks vid would go down well. Like mix tips, workflow tips etc etc. What do you think?

I went ahead and purchased this, as everything from Groove3 has been nothing short of perfect.

I think that would actually be very good, diversity for everyone.

Can't ask for a better review than that! I'll let the guys know that :)

Yeah, I figure some diversity would be a good thing as well.

Yes, that would be very nice.

I like your work. Very clear tutorials, very effective !!

I haven't seen the mastering tutorials on the groove3 site yet, but since Ableton live is a complete DAW with mastering plugins, perhaps this is an idea. Routing configurations, compression techniques, etc. The mixing you already explained a bit, perhaps you can go a little bit deeper as well. In this way we can do EVERYTHING in Live itself, with its own plugins.

Do the tips in this video transfer well to other genres, like trance for example? Or are they specific to house?

There's no way you could transfer the same techniques for House music to something as vastly different as Trance. Chilean Zapateado music? Yes. But Trance is really reaching.

I'm not ever going to do a 'proper' mastering series using Lives plugins. They're really good for a lot of things, but they weren't designed for mastering.

As for House, Trance, Chilean Zapateado, the tips are all very transferrable. If it's got a kick drum, snare and some hats, you'll get something from the tips. :) Have you heard the song that I mainly work through on in the Arrangement/FX video? It's far from House. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1PZsg-O31k
