I got traktor scratch instead. I prefer the hands on operation.

OK, you've been taken off the sad list.

I'd make a list of plug-ins that I own but don't use, but it would crash the forum database. :P

All the ooh and ahh plug-ins from the Suite (Tension, Collision, Vocoder, Multiband, Corpus) Don't use them, too gimmicky my taste is not that "electronic" anymore.
What I do use always and always and always my UAD plug-ins, all of them. They're expensive and you need the cards but once you have it running, they're real workhorses.

if you buy it used, the license becomes NFR (if I recall correctly).

I use everything I own and if I haven't visited a plugin for a while, make a habit of going back and using it again, some sound fresh when you revisit them !

hey djsynchro-

I am about ready to buy a UAD card + a few of their plug-ins. From my past experience, they seem to shit out some rock solid stuff.

I assume it plays fine and dandy with Live... is there anything you come across that was of questionable freshness when using the UAD card with Live?

On my last computer (single core) I had a horrible motherboard and I never got rid of glitches & pops, on my newer Asus/Intel Quadcore it's all good.
Live itself is not such a great performer, it has become really sluggish but if you're on a modern CPU you should be good. I have 2 UAD-1 cards and a UAD-2 Solo and they all hum along.
