Ableton Forum

hi,

i've searched this forum for answers to this question and and none of the solutions have worked for me. I bought Battery 3, updated to the most current version, etc. but i cannot seem to get Battery 3 to show up in my Ableton vst folder. The battery.vst file is in the correct spot but just not showing up when i open ableton. I'm trying to edit other people's work in Live but Live wont recognize these battery files. Please help if ya have any ideas. thx!!

Reset your plugin folder; this will force a rescan.
Also, did you install the 32 bit plugin? The latest version of Battery has both 32 and 64 bit plugins for each platform and Live's 32 bit only.

have reset plug in folder and still no luck. have reinstalled numerous time and still no luck. how can u tell if battery is 32 or 64 bit? cant figure that one out. let me know if you have any other ideas. would be greatly appreciated. Thx!!

in doing some more research it appears that im using the 64 bit version of battery and i need to use the 32 bit. how do i go about doing this??

what are the last three digits of the version number in the battery folder and your vst folder?

3.0.1 i think. at least that what it is when i open up the battery folder. i dont see three numbers in the vst folder.? i've updated and reinstalling and not updating and nothing works for me. does that help, or, can i get you any other info?

updated wouldnt be 3.0.1.
