With the share live sets feature can you only share it with one person or does it have to be public to anyone?

share doesn't exist anymore.

you can use 'collect all and save' which will save all your consolidated samples to your project folder. the person you're sharing with will just need any vsts you've used, and if they can't you can freeze the track before saving so they have a raw waveform to work with. if you're using live's native plugins and synths, so long as the person you're sharing with has the same options available you should be okay.

i believe the official ableton suggestion to overcome the removal of share (as it will be re-worked apparently) is to use dropbox and the 'collect all and save' feature.

There is a new "online" daw coming up from the Ohmforce guys that seems exciting for this kind of working colaboratively.
