I get lyrically inspired as I work on the melodic aspects of a song and
usually I just write them down in notepad or similar...but it would be
fantastic if there was such a facility right in Live. A search didn't
turn up anything...

I noticed in some of the live packs that they gave us to download have
the artist's pic and lots of text...maybe that's what I'm looking for?

control clicking a track and selecting "edit info text" gives you a notepad in the lower left of the screen. once you've entered some text, just hover over the track name to see the text.
