hey,

is there a function to goto 'next scene' after one has finished playing instead of next clip.. in clip view?

i want to set it up so the intro to a song scrolls through and then i can manually play with the main scenes of a song.

Cheers

Paul

You can do this using midi control clips and a virtual midi bus (iac bus on a mac, or use midi yoke on pc)

Add a midi track to your first scene and create a midi clip that is the same length you want the scene to run for.

Map a midi note to the launch button of your next scene

Program that same note at the end of the midi control clip above.(in the last bar if your global launch quantize is set to one bar)

Set the midi track's output to the virtual bus and make sure the bus's input has remote enabled in Live's prefs

Now when you launch your first scene it will launch your midi control clip and that note you programmed at the end will loop through the virtual bus to trigger the next scene.
