For some reason everything just randomly went out of tune after I arranged it.
Any ideas?

Did you change the sample rate by any chance?

no sample rate changed. i recorded the song from session to arrangement view. specifically i played the tune out on my APC.

Silly question, but any Pitch plug-in (midi device) is active?

It happens to me ALL the time (8.1.5). Just working in arrange and after some time, no triggering event that I can sort out, a midi track would go out of tune. Saving the session and loading it back fixes the problem. I can try and shoot some youtube vid when it happens. Oh and there's no way to tune the vst back. It doesn't seem to happen with Live devices.

this is such BS. you cant retune synths? no workaround? i reopened the live set and it is not working. could you please make some videos? that would be so helpful.

No, I agree. Moreover, no possible explanation.

You guys should be happy instead of annoyed, you figured out how to coax some "analog warmth" out of your VSTs!

On a more serious note, I watched the video... and I noticed a MIDI controller on your desk. Some of the cheaper MIDI controllers have pitch wheels that are sensitive to vibration. I noticed that your controller is right in front of the speakers.
Did you check your arrangement's automation to make sure that there weren't any pitch changes coming in via MIDI? I saw that you saved and reloaded the track to fix it, which should exclude this issue (because the unwanted pitch automation would be saved too). But nobody's mentioned this type of thing yet so I thought it would be helpful.
I have to be wary of this because one of my synths has a broken pitch wheel (the spring inside fell off and I never replaced it). I don't use it as a controller but when I use it as a sound generator, sometimes the wheel will fall and the track will mysteriously transpose downward...
