except that his music + his performances are both great, and he's a nice person, too. but haters gonna hate, as usual. different musical tastes are all there is to it. you might not like his music. others do.

his statement on haters btw: http://choleric-mau5.blogspot.com/2010/ ... lunch.html

i suggest you to see his show, try to drop the hate and enjoy it. it's much fun, more than the hate, for sure.

actually i don't have a problem with the guy at all (possibly a bit harsh there with the lady GG comparison), its more his legion of sycophantic fans that makes me puke, defending everything he says and putting up links to his responses rather than using their own. and Yes i am trolling, if anyone in this forum wrote the same quality music we'd all be like "good shit man, well done" but when this guy does it its like jesus just jizzed on their chins

well, he was just another forum user here. one that got famous. and there came the haters. i guess it's all just bitterness and envy :) because suddenly, people can't say "good shit man, well done" anymore. while his stuff still is, actually, good shit, and well done. i'm enjoying his stuff and i'm happy to see one from here getting that famous, and still enjoying his life doing so (playing solitaire on the vma's was awesome imho).

i'm glad for everyone in here who has great fun, both at creating and at listening to music. the hating is not cool, never was. but it won't end i guess :)

From Beatport:
"1. September 21st - October 12th: Download phase - Download the remix parts of ”SOFI Needs A Ladder” for $3.99 USD."

Totally lame... I will boycott out of principle. Just got the Green Velvet stems for free for that rmx contest & am in. Deadmau5 thinks he's bigger than GV? Fight! Fight! The whole premise of selling stems for a remix contest where the winning product helps sell the original record by being included on the release is baseless and insulting. The end.

Oh nooooooos, $4!!!!!!!! I'm putting my car up for sale now and will have to eat nothing but ramon noodles for the next 2 hours!!

Even if I did not win the contest, if I were so inclined, I could spin my remix I made on a dance floor that absolutely nobody else has, if I were so inclined. But what's the value in that I guess? Who wants to hear a sick remix that only I have. Couldn't possibly help my DJ or production career. Nope.
