Ah damn, I noticed this thread after starting my own. my bad.

I'll be buying for sure, even though I already have tension (for reasons listed in my other thread). :D

Hi, yeah - I'm going to delete glitchrock-buddha's thread in the interest of not being repetitive. Enjoy your string synths, everyone!

@ glitchrock... thanks, I got it from you  I was coming back to say thanks and found this one instead... Been looking for good strings. At this price I'll gamble.

whats the scoop with this though? I downloaded what appears to be the license file I think, but I'm not finding the information clear on whether I'm getting a boxed version shipped or if there's another download... :?

AND they're trying to get me to fill out a survey before I even finish the order... 8O :? :x :?:

EDIT: Ah! never mind... I got an email from AAS with the download link... that AudioMidi website is a little janky... but I guess it works!

Woah, I never thought I'd see the day! Looks like this forum is now moderated.

Anyways, as I was saying in the other thread, this is well worth it even for people who have tension, since you can:
-Rearrange the parameter order as you see fit
-Load it in Kore
-Use it with Novation automap
-Use a separate bigger window with most controls visible at once
-Record midi data in clips
-Use in other hosts besides Ableton Live
-Other goodies like a programmable arpeggiator

For 20 bucks you can't go wrong. Maybe when touchable has custom instrument layouts I'll use the abe versions more, but I'm glad to get the VST version. I've almost bought it at full price a couple times lately actually. Very glad I held off.
