Apart from the hideous overuse of autotuning artifacts and a questionable choice of piano sound, it was a pretty good track. The singer sounds like he has a good voice, leave the extreme autotuning for dudes who can't sing like T-Pain or Kanye West, or at least tone it down so it doesn't permeate the whole vocal track !

I liked the way the drums went through an automated bitcrusher type effect from super lofi to hifi, the parts in the middle broke the song up well and overall the mix I would give a 7.5/10 for, a bit congested in the lo mids in places, but otherwise good seperation. This track definitely has a lot of potential.

I like it (as much as I can like Drumstep, which isn't really my bag). Good production.

I think leedsquietman makes several good points. The piano sounds pretty dated and I think the vocals are overcooked with the melodyne effect. Is it because the singer can't sing? Which is a shame, because the drop is massive- nice b-line and filter/bitcrushed drums.
I'm used to hearing originality in your productions but the beat is pretty unimaginitive, almost stale. Not one of my favourite tracks you've produced.

Dudes, "Shock To The System", which is who did the original, is an amazing singer, and uses the Auto-Tune as just an effect, and works it like that on purpose. To be honest, i did this remix so that he could have something release for his next ep, which will be available on beatport in october. He made an entire 3 track ep, but used many samples (That we uncleared) from movies like "the Exorcist" and "The Gremlins". So, he had a deadline to meet with no ep to release. In turn, he produced and wrote the track "the Key". I offered to do a drum step remix of it. Which, i only had 1 day to make from top to bottom. The result, is what you hear. I'm not proud of my mastering and mixing of the track, and though it starts out very "dry" with the cheesy piano, thats exactly what i was going for. A fake out with a straight forward "drum Step" section. I appreciate all of you that have listened and given your input. Wow, i never say this much in forums like this, because i believe music is so opinionated, and is felt and interpreted differently by each listener in their own special way. That's what keeps music so interesting!
So on that note, thank you all again for your input and creative criticism. Most of all, thank you ableton, for breaking the mold and impacting ALL of our lives so much!
