Hi Support!!!
After a few days since the 8.2 was released everything was fine.
Now today Live 8.2 crashes on startup with the following report.

Just an idea: try deinstalling all Divx stuff.

Do you really need it? Better try Perian - Read this before installing Perian!

I've started getting the exact same crash.
Reported it ... but is there somewhere I can download 8.14 or another working version?

Thanks for the tip.
But it doesn't work.

The 8.2 works a few days and then its started to crash.


Hope the support will find a solution to fix this problem as soon as possible.
I work with the beta 8.1.6b2 that version numbers alone are funny enough.

When I had this (on an earlier version) I had to delete the preferences file, then re-ran (or reinstalled can't remember) then it worked fine ever since.

If I'm not mistaken it was caused by a corrupted Preferences.cfg file in /{username}/Library/Preferences/Ableton/Live 8.2 folder (or in my case Live 8.15 which was the version was giving me trouble).

I'll have to try it myself. This may be an old Thread but the problems are just the same for me with V 8.2.6.
