Whats the longest time you've continuously 'performed' with Live? I mean triggered Clips and kept Live playing for?
I have a 5 hour set on Friday.

8-9 hours one night at a house party, I think it was with Live 7 too. Worked fine, not a single issue with my Ultralite at the time,

12 hours. improvising in a duo. started with almost no prepared material and ended with hundreds of clips!

I can squeeze about 2 hours out of my Live set.
DJ'ing you could go for days.

I once played a roughly 5 hours set on a strange gallery-opening once. and a 4 hours picnic-ambient-set the other day in a park. No crashes.
The reacball-installation was on display during three days with people continously triggering clips and tweaking efx and live did not crash once.

5 hours with version 8.1.3 on a previous generation Macbook and Novation Nio. Zero hiccups.
Don't forget to bring a mix cd or an ipod with a 1/8 inch to rca cable. So if something happens mid set, you've got music to play while you sort stuff out. Nothing worse than silence on the dancefloor.
