live and logic audio

I'm considering buying live but it seems that editing in live is uneasy, I already have logic but find the environment too hard to handle,I've never use rewire.
I was wondering, is it possible to record in live (stand alone) the rewired with logic use the session part of live and record it in the logic arrangement window to edit easily, and mix in logic to have the effect plugins of logic? or just mix in logic?
