how can i remove a sound ( claps in this case ) from an audio loop

Removing specific sounds from existing loops is almost impossible to achieve without making the finished loop sound different to the original version. The best thing to do would be to try and loop a smaller section of the loop that doesn't have the clap sound in it (which should work providing the claps are on every 2nd beat).

you can try to locally eq the clap down, so eq only when the clap occurs...and run in parallel little samples of the other tracks or parts of the loop to mask the gap... we call that process frankensteinern..

if you ve got at some point the clap alone, you can invert is phase and mix with original loop, to remove it, but this has to be achieved with same exact sample and at sample accurate
starting point, wich is usually impossible, better cut and replace, or use the offset
feature to pick somewhere else in the loop.

Yes. Or if the clap is alone, the slicer should be able to isolate it too.
