Ableton / DMXIS help

I manage a band (based in New York) who have been using ableton to control Enttec's DMXIS, triggering lighting cues via midi sent from an MPC (which is in turn triggered by drum triggers, footswitches and actual hands on playing the pads).
we've encountered various issues w/ program changes flipping through live clips and issues w/ tempo sync. I wanted to see if there was anyone out there with more experience using ableton and dmxis together? any help would be appreciated and if you're based in the area and can help make this run smoothly there's some money for your time to help troubleshoot this with us.

I to am using DMXIS to run our light show on stage. We are not using any hardware to control the lights, it's programed in Live using 2 MIDI tracks that output to MidiYoke. One track to control the banks(channel 15) and the other to control scenes(channel 16). I have tried to run it with very little success as a VST, it will crash at random, crash while creating or modifying a preset, and crash by arranging scenes. The only stable way it seems to work is by running the DMXIS executable and using MIDI Yoke in between DMXIS and Ableton. If your on a mac you could utilize the IAC Driver. But it has really been stable for me since running it as an executable. All you'll have to do is install MidiYoke or enable IAC---Set your midi output in Live and set your midi input in DMXIS---Then you'll be ready to configure more scenes without hangs and crashes! For your hardware you could create a midi track that routes the input/output of your controller to the midiYoke channel going to DMXIS.

I just ordered DMXIS and i'm hoping to get it by next weekend when we have show.
I'm getting few LED lights for the show that i was thinking to try to controll, but as i test the software in Demo mode it seems that there is no presets for the LEDs i'm getting that are Multispot PS020A.
How hard it's to create new fixtures?
I will have maybe 2 hours time to setup the light and do the programming so it will be something really simple. Is there some ready presets that just could be synced to BPM?
I have never done any light stuff before so this will be the beginning
