Is there a compact desktop microphone I can use at my desk ?

Hey,
Is there a decent enough condenser desktop microphone that is compact, and will allow me to record vocal ideas at my iMac without having to think about things too much... ? One I can leave plugged in all the time, is compact, cheap enough, etc? I know the Apogee One has the inbuilt mic (so something along those lines), but I'm happy with my audio interface, so....? Thanx!

Similarly, the Blue Snowball has surprisingly nice quality for being 60 bucks on Amazon. Couldn't be simpler to set up, too.
