single-shot clip getting re-triggered

Not sure if this is a bug, but it's certainly a problem for me.
I tend to perform using Live entirely in the session view, but with the timeline looping bars 1-8 so I can record bits into the arrangement & then jam over them.
The trouble with this is that if I trigger a one-shot clip, if the clip is playing when the timeline loops back to bar 1, the clip re-triggers, which is not what I expect. I would've thought that the clip would just continue to play while the arrangement loops behind it.
Is there a way round this? If not, could it be fixed?
