SURROUND
there is no way to do a surround mix with ableton today!

I have lots of Surround plugins made with MAX but they re useless with Live
I wanna work on a surround ie: 5 speakers performance

As someone who’s moved from Cakewalk Sonar (which has surround) to Live a few versions ago on the sonar forums there was the same debate and request for surround. I have no trouble per say if people want surround but I do question if there is a major percentage who would really use it. If you are recording standard music (for performance or CD) or a DJ there’s little call or point in surround as the standard is still stereo L & R.

I rather have better midi implementation, better mastering tools, MP3 Output than something that's rather limited in its use.
