Scratching - with knobs and buttons

Hi all,
I've got Ableton Launchpad edition (came with LP) and I just picked up a Korg Nano Kontrol. I played in Abe a lot with the MPC style of scratch, pitch on a fader, note-on for the sample, cool. But limited and a bit n-n-n-n-nineteen, no realtime wave travel.
(I also own 1200's btw but am limited with space and trying to get some satisfying scratch on the laptop + controllers for fun)
Anyway, I went through a lot of settings with clips, simpler, grain delay, and also played with various VST after searching KVR, but turns out, FL 9 (which I also have, along with renoise) has Fruity Scratcher..which seems the best solution so far.
But I think it is an FL plug and not a VST, so can I get both best-of-both? Either load FL scratch into Abe or re-wire it using LP edition? Or perhaps there are other scratch-wav-back-forth-via-midi solutions that I haven't tried yet
I love session view in Abe but Fruity Scratcher seems to be the only decent realtime wav scratcher..thoughts welcome
Cheers!
