UC33 Setup for Abelton Manual??
I recently received a UC 33 midi controller as a gift and would like to utilize this to mix my own tracks, but unfortunatley my evolution book came with setup info for cubase, logic and reason? Any help that anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated! Kind Regards

it totally depends on how you want to set it up. you will probably go through several combinations before you decide on which one you want to keep.
what i did was:
took preset 21.
made sure global channel for each was set to 1
then set up the controller as i wanted to control live (click Midi learn, select what you want to control; then move the fader/knob; unclick midi button)
as a rough ready guide heres i have my UC set up like:
faders 1-8 control tracks 1-8
top row of knobs trigger clips in rows 1-8
middle row:
1 global reverb dry/wet on master
2. tempo
3.| 4 | 5 low mid high eq on master
6. delay on master
7. vol on track 9
8 vol on track 10
bottom row of knobs:
1. scroll through scenes
2-7 aux sends on each audio channels
8 cross fader
buttons:
1 - down scene
2 - up scene
3 - trigger scene
4-9 trigger samples
0 stop clips
the uc is a great controller, i wish i had two!
good luck

Hey I just a second hand UC33 today.
I was wondering if there was a 'Clear All Presets' button on the UC33.
I know you can reset the factory presets by powering up holding + and - buttons, but this doesn't help me.
The actual problem I have is: The top row of knobs do not send midi data to live. apparently they are all set to a specific CC, but I have a bit of trouble clearing this setting.
also for the moment I don't have a midi cable so sending sysex won't help me (for now).
