Hello,

I am totally new to live 4, and I have some wierd problems when I try to enable VST-instruments that I cannot svolve myself. So here I go:

When I press the activate custom folder-button, Live 4 searches trough the plugins-folder. It goes trough all the plugins (Live shows the plugin names as it searches trough the folder). After that's done, live just exits.

More precice: it doesn't appear on the schreen, but it still is active in the task manager. It has completeley stopped, it seems, when I can see live as it seacrhes trough the plugins, the memory it uses increases, but at the moment live "exits", the memory stops increasing.

Any tips? I am getting rather desperate.. 8O

I have similar problems. It seems, as noted in the manual, that not all VST plugins function in Live. Try and move your plugins to a different folder. Drop them back in, one at the time, and you will be able to find the offending plugins. I know it is tedious and time consuming, but it is the only work around I know will work. Best thing to do is to have a special Live VST plugin folder only for Live. Just copy the entiries that works into this folder.

Best of luck
